Amidst the cornfields and restless co-eds of local universities, the Normal, IL Poetry Slam is an all-ages venue for performance poetry, music, and all kinds of creative chaos.
Each high-energy show consists of three basic elements: an open mic, a highly acclaimed feature, and a poetry slam. The festivities convene at LEAST every second and fourth Tuesday (7:30PM) at The Coffeehouse in downtown Normal. Arrive on time, because it's hip, hip, so hip to be square.
